We have developed and characterized a novel class of autologous rejuvenated cells, termed Prometheus Cells, derived from dermal fibroblasts through epigenetic reprogramming. Named after the regenerative figure in Greek mythology, these cells exhibit key features of mesenchymal stem cells, including significantly elongated telomeres, enhanced neurotrophic factor secretion, and potent immunomodulatory effects. Prometheus Cells demonstrate a strong ability to suppress microglial activation and promote a neurotrophic environment, highlighting their potential in regenerative therapies for age-related and neuroinflammatory diseases.
