(1) Qualifications

  1. Ph.D. degree obtained from a well-recognized domestic or international university, or those who have successfully defended their dissertation;

  2. Candidates who have recently obtained or are about to obtain a Ph.D. (within the past 3 years), generally under the age of 35; must not have previously conducted postdoctoral research in Guangdong Province;

  3. Major: Neuroscience, Stem Cells, Bioinformatics, or other related disciplines. Candidates should have published academic papers as first or corresponding author in top-tier journals in the relevant field. Preference will be given to those familiar with the following areas: single-cell sequencing, multi-omics data integration, and cellular reprogramming;

  4. Strong English communication skills, with the ability to independently write academic manuscripts;

  5. High academic standards and strong research capabilities, able to independently conduct scientific research;

  6. Good academic ethics, strong sense of teamwork and collaboration;

  7. Candidates who can begin work as soon as possible and commit full-time will be given priority.

(2) Compensation and Benefits

  1. The postdoctoral term is two years, with an annual salary of 300,000 to 450,000 RMB (including a living subsidy of 180,000 RMB from Shenzhen government). Benefits are provided in accordance with the university’s standards for faculty members, including full social insurance, housing fund, and performance-based bonuses. Performance pay will be adjusted annually based on evaluation;

  2. Additional benefits include annual performance bonuses, year-end bonuses, project-based bonuses, patent application incentives, and meal subsidies;

  3. Upon completion of the postdoctoral term, those who sign a 3-year labor contract to remain in Shenzhen may apply for a Shenzhen municipal research grant of RMB 360,000 (RMB 120,000 per year for 3 years);

  4. Postdocs may apply for Shenzhen talent housing through the university. Shenzhen household registration (hukou) can be processed, with relocation privileges for spouses and minor children. High-quality affiliated educational institutions covering kindergarten through high school are available for faculty children. Comprehensive healthcare coverage is provided, with access to high-end annual health checkups after one year of service;

  5. The university offers a supportive research environment with abundant resources. Full support will be provided for postdocs applying as principal investigators for funding such as the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (Tier 1: 120,000 RMB; Tier 2: 80,000 RMB), National Natural Science Foundation, and other Guangdong and Shenzhen-level projects. Based on qualifications, the research team will assist in applying for Shenzhen municipal talent programs. Outstanding candidates may be recommended for appointment as Assistant Research Professors after completing the postdoc term.
